Worth Repeating: Biggest Seahawks Draft Busts

I posted this about the Seahawks biggest draft busts last year, but it still applies today... Anyone want to suggest additions?

I was thinking back the other day to the early '80s. Didn't we draft Jacob Green, Kenny Easley and Jeff Bryant in back-to-back(-to-back) drafts? I wish we could get a run like that going in the next few years.

The only guy I might add to your list would be Lamar King, Holmgren's first 1st round pick. (Kelly Stouffer would be excluded because I believe he was either a supplemental pick like Bosworth or acquired in a trade, I forget which.) Frankly, the Holmgren era contained several players that it's safe to say were disappointments in the first round, but he and Ruskell have been pretty successful at finding good players after that (Bernard, Hamlin, Tatupu, Hill, Mebane, DJack).

Are you sticking with Crabtree as your pick? I'm waiting until the last possible moment to make my prediction. I honestly have no idea who the Hawks are going to take, and I think my decision is also complicated by the fact that I like all of the players they're allegedly considering, even Sanchez. I guess if I had to pick the one I hope we get it'd be Crabtree by a narrow margin. Anyway, it should be fun tomorrow.

Man, I sure would like one of those phones!! That is nice....

Rich Eisen on NFLN made a plea for those making a comeback the other day, and the guy said he has all them in the gargage and make an offer...

I wish I had Crabs man!!!!
